New Britain Soccer, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is reaching out to you in hopes of establishing a sponsoring partnership. Our year-round soccer program draws in hundreds of kids and their families, offering great visibility for your business, and we are growing fast.

This volunteer-run soccer club was formed by a group of people who have dedicated their adult lives to youth soccer in the city of New Britain. We have seen first-hand the direct impact that a strong community-based soccer program can have on kids, families, and communities, and we are devoted to bringing soccer, and all the opportunities that come from playing it, to the children and young adults of New Britain. Unlike some other team sports, soccer is universally popular across gender, ethnicity and cultural background, so the impact is more broadly shared by our diverse community.

Right now, soccer in the United States is hotter than ever. Driving this popularity is the active and exciting nature of the sport, the simple unrestrictive rules, dynamic play, relative safety, and low equipment needs. Still, the game needs a sophisticated and expensive space infrastructure that opens an inequality gap based on the economic status of families and communities. Consequently, youth soccer has largely migrated to a pay-to-play system. Children with the means to do so have been drawn to expensive, elite soccer programs, while cities have struggled to make available these fundamental elements. The result of this system is that kids are being left out of the opportunity to participate competitively in one of America’s highest-growth sports.

To overcome this gap, New Britain Soccer aims to make soccer accessible to the youth in our city, and we need your help! With soccer as the catalyst, New Britain Soccer develops a comprehensive program that expands outwardly from athletics to include support for the development of essential skills in academics, fitness and nutrition, emotional intelligence, leadership, college readiness, and career planning.
